房东被告实例3-没租到房的人要告房东

地主们，快来参谋参谋，有人没租到房要告我。

我真的会被告到法庭么？我该怎么办？

下面是他给我的email.

I am sure that you are uninterested but FYI , since you did not rent the apartment to my son xxxx, we ended up having to find another apartment which is further from school and costing us an additional $229 a month. Since you never told us the reason you rejected xxxx although he was first to view it at the open house and was told that you simply had to verify my credit (which is excellent)I suspect that this might be a case of housing discrimination. You should anticipate hearing from us again.

问：当初拒绝用啥理由?他的分数多少?

我没check him.

The other couple show me their credit report. then I just go with them. Then I told him that he is the second one on my list. Then he ask me why he is second, he said his mother got very good credit score. he think he should be the first one..

问：Who came first? The couple or the man?

The couple was early on Thursday afternoon.

He was the first one on Saturday.

Couple is earlier.

The man is student , he is going to live in there. he want me to check his mother credit.

I can return the application fee which is only 10 dollars.

我看你没什么问题。

建议你正式写一封信，连同refund check， 用certificated mail加上return receive（在post office邮寄）。就咬定说你有证据证明他是第二，但是不提是什么证据。要是再问你的证据，你可以说你告到那里我自然会就在那里出示。并且说第一个通过了就不查第二个。另外，谁住就查谁的credit。我不管你妈的（不是骂人：-P).他要是说当时为什么不说，你就说当时没注意就收申请了。或者说后来Partner（顾问、律师或者如山：-P）提醒你。

如山兄，这些故事如有头有尾就更有意思。那些城里人得到反馈后，一般还回来把故事讲完吗？ 我自己根本不知“城”在哪儿, 也没时间去。 谢谢。

这个case没见提问人回头再说。我估计租客没有继续告。至于提问人是否按照我说的去做还是发生别的事就不清楚了。“城”里人跟这里的人一样，是否回头说就看这个人是什么习惯了。在这里你同样也可以看到，并非每个人听了你意见以后都给你一个回复的。我说过，这可能是咱们老中的文化使然。他们可能觉得“尽在不言中”更好 。在这里你一样不难找到这样的例子。
